Position Details: System Engineer-Payments

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Engineer/Architect with 6-8 years of experience in technology design, architecture, and infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting both development and production environments within the payments domain.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Technology & Infrastructure Expertise
• 6–8 years of experience in technology design, system architecture, and infrastructure operations.

• Proven ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot development and production environments.

• Payments Industry Experience
• Prior experience in the payment processing industry is required.

• Preferably experienced with ACI products, including:
• Base24-eps
• ACI-Issuer
• ACI-Interchange
• PRM
• Technical Skills
• Strong coding/scripting skills in C++, Linux Shell scripting, COBOL, and BASE24-eps scripting.

• Experience working with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Hands-on experience in Base24-eps and CMM installation and support, system monitoring, system administration, documentation, and capacity planning/growth analysis.

• Industry & Functional Knowledge
• Strong understanding of major payment interchanges (Visa, MasterCard, Fiserv, Discover).

• Knowledge of single-message and dual-message transaction processing models.

• Solid understanding of Key Management, TSS, and related security processes.

• Communication & Collaboration
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including technical teams, leadership, and external partners.
