Description:
This Service Now focused functional test analyst role is required to work within project & product teams to deliver functional and automated testing of APIs, and validating repeatable, back-end/infrastructure processes.
This person will be responsible for functional test activities and ensuring alignment to the QA Automation Strategy led by our Test Architect.
Our test automation work is varied, spanning desktop estate (Mac, Windows), off-the-shelf vs custom developed and integrated applications.

• Executing testing for large, complex delivery on ServiceNow technologies
• Developing functional test automation frameworks
• Bring quality in CI/CD pipelines for delivery
• Able to assess and review unit tests
• Reviewing test processes and practices
• Guide and support others for building and improving team practices

Your professional experience
Must have:
• Experience of testing ServiceNow modules
• Experience of ServiceNow test automations and tools, e.g.
AutomatePro, Selenium
• Strong knowledge & use of QA methodologies e.g.
Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, BDD for functional test activities.
• Experience of test automations and tools, e.g.
Tosca, Selenium
• 3 year’s test automation /test development experience
• Experience in working with teams in DevSecOps
• In-depth knowledge of test toolsets and development languages including C#, Java
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and web services
• Understanding of DevOps pipeline i.e. change, release & deployment processes
• Experience in conducting UAT, defect reporting & triage and preparing QA metrics
• Understanding across multiple disciplines of test, e.g. functional, integration, performance, compatibility
• Awareness of ServiceNow testing tools in the software development lifecycle, types of tools available and where appropriate to use them.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent experience)
• Test management tool expertise (such as Atlassian Jira, Azure DevOps etc.)
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Professional and confident with a strong drive & enthusiasm to multi-task.
• Acute attention to detail.
Desirable experience:
• Experience of testing ServiceNow, and ServiceNow automation tools e.g.
Automate Pro
• A proven track record in a top tier consultancy or a large enterprise / organisation.
• ISTQB Certified Agile Tester qualification
• ServiceNow Fundamentals certifications
