Role Overview
We are looking to hire experienced PL/I / Fortran Developers with strong mainframe expertise to support critical applications within our internal teams.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PL/I or Fortran development along with solid understanding of mainframe environments.
This role will contribute to development, enhancement, maintenance, and modernization of legacy applications within the banking and wealth domain.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using PL/I / Fortran within mainframe environments.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across legacy systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, optimization of existing modules, and performance tuning.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, documentation, and quality processes.
• Support production deployments, incident resolutions, and process improvements.
• Work closely with internal Deloitte teams to maintain stable and scalable systems.

Must-Have Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in PL/I or Fortran development.
• Proven experience with Mainframe technologies (JCL, TSO/ISPF, utilities, etc.).
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in PL/I or Fortran.
• Experience working in Financial Services / Banking / Wealth Management domains is highly preferred.

Good-to-Have Skills
• Exposure to COBOL, DB2, and other mainframe languages.
• Experience with Legacy modernization, Legacy stacks, AIX technologies.
• Ability to work across large-scale enterprise mainframe ecosystems.
