Description:
The DLP analyst is a member of the NSE Information Protection team and is responsible for providing Data Loss Prevention expertise across North South Europe (NSE).
Roles &
Responsibilities:
· Is responsible for the operational delivery of the DLP service across NSE.
· Understands the service and the underlying systems and processes.
· Represents the service across NSE, engaging with the SME’s and Data Owners as required.
· Coordinates communication among NSE SME’s and systems staff.
· Manages vendor tickets.
· Manages changes to, and the removal of, existing DLP rules.
· Manages the identification and implementation of new rules (including the document on-boarding process).
· Understands the business aims and values of reporting and liaises with stakeholders and operational teams to improve reporting capability and meet business requirements by demonstrating value.
• Supports the NSE DLP Manager in day-to-day activities.
Required
Qualifications:
• Demonstrable understanding of project management and the ability to manage key deliverables.
• Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise requests as they are received.
• Sound written and verbal communications skills, (formal training desirable).
• Good time management skills and the ability to manage priorities under pressure.
• A proactive, keen and flexible approach with high level of motivation and commitment.
• Confidence in dealing with senior individuals in and beyond the firm, and tenacity in following up and getting things done.
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks and activities and to prioritise requirements effectively when working to tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Discerning, with good analytical skills and the ability to filter what’s relevant and important, and what needs to be escalated.
