Position Details: Guidewire Cloud Platform Rating Developer (3 - 8 Yrs)

Description:

Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating, particularly with rating engine including rating algorithms, modifiers, and rate tables, product model, and product designer.

• Design and develop solutions: Design, configure, and implement Guidewire rating engine solutions, including rating algorithms, modifiers, and rate tables, using Gosu scripting and Product Designer.

• Proficiency in Guidewire's Gosu programming language.

Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and SCM tools (e.g., GIT) is required

• Translate business requirements: Work with business analysts, product owners, and actuaries to translate business requirements into technical specifications for rating models.

• Quality assurance: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, unit testing, and deployment.

Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to Guidewire Cloud best practices.

• Troubleshoot and support: Troubleshoot and resolve rating-related issues across different environments.

Support QA and UAT teams during testing and deployment

• Solid understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
