Analyst- Senior VDI Operations Engineer
Skill - Azure Virtual Desktop using enterprise ITSM tools like ServiceNow
Location – Hyderabad
• Job Description (high level)
• - This role is to perform operational and administrative management of
the Azure Virtual Desktop environment known as Cloud VDI.
• The role requires advanced skills in Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
Services, knowledge of Microsoft Compute- Win 11 Virtual Machines (single
and multisession), Azure Entra ID, Azure DevOps, PowerShell.
• Advantageous to have working knowledge of Prompt Engineering, M365,
Windows Device Management via Intune, App and Patch Management via SCCM,
Remote App (on Azure Virtual Desktop), FS Logix, KQL, PowerBI, Log
Analytics, Custom Azure Workbooks and other Azure based virtualization
services like DevCenter and Windows 365 is advantageous
• The role requires an individual that is familiar with administrative
work, especially resolving incidents, handling escalations, and general
customer requests using ServiceNow, and understands the need for solid
processes and adherence to such.

• - Handling complex requests and incidents related to Azure Virtual
Desktop using enterprise ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Effectively communicate with requesters and stakeholders to understand
their business needs and accordingly fulfill their requests
• Help internal Deloitte customers onboard to the Global Azure Virtual
Desktop service catering to their requirements by finding the best possible
solution within the framework of technical and operational constraints
• Liaison with the team to address challenges and gaps in handling the
requests
• Follow best practices and align operational activities and procedures
based on guidance from seniors within the team
• Work with sister teams to address compliance requirements
• Handle complex incidents and requests in the most efficient manner
(either with the help of team members or independently) with a focus
towards the root cause resolution
• Work towards having a proactive approach for identifying potential
issues or challenges and come up with possible solutions to address the same
• Work towards developing new, or improving the existing automation and
reporting capabilities within the team, for example
• Develop new DevOps pipelines for feature enhancements
• Improve data gathering and modelling for report enhancements
• Involve in enhancing the existing report designs (PowerBI/Azure
Workbooks)
• Guide juniors or peers in the team to upskill or resolve their
day-to-day operational challenges
• Lead simple projects, or certain aspects of complex projects,
incorporating proper planning, stakeholder management, identifying and
addressing challenges, and managing timelines
