 Role :- Functional Tester – Flexcube

Experience:- 4years to 6years

• *Functional Tester - Manual
• - Functional Manual Tester with strong domain expertise in Investment
Banking / Capital Markets who is responsible for validating business
requirements and ensuring high-quality delivery of applications

• Experienced QA Analyst to analyze functional specifications, user
stories, and requirements to create detailed manual Test Plans and Test
Scenarios and Test Cases

• Hands on experience with various testing types—including *Smoke,
Sanity, Integration, System, and Regression testing

• - Experience in UAT and validating that the software meets end-user
expectations and business goals

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, BAs, product
owners) to clarify requirements and provide quality feedback throughout the

• STLC
• - Effective defect management capabilities to Identify, document, and
track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps

• Capable to write SQL queries for backend data validation
• Participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review and
retrospectives to integrate quality early in the development cycle

• Ability to work effectively within a large IT team environment,
collaborating with multiple stakeholders and demonstrating strong
analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience working on large-scale programs involving multiple
internal/external system integrations and centralized data lake
architectures

• Required Skills
• - Engineering graduate or post-graduate (B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA) from
a top-tier institution

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Quality Assurance Manual Functional
Testing

• Strong understanding of Testing concepts and Test Documentation is
mandatory

• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) methodology, including active
participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and
retrospectives

• Experience in Manual Functional Testing – UI, API, Database testing
• Hands on experience in writing SQL queries and database testing
• Must be experienced with all aspects of test life cycle - writing test
plans and cases, test execution, defect triage, reports, and metrics

• Strong knowledge of Finance, Investments, Portfolio Management,
Portfolio Construction, OCIO applications and extensive asset management
experience especially trading/cash/new mandates workflows Front office
compliance, Risk Management and major Capital Markets Exposure are preferred

• Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within
cross-functional teams. (Written as well as Verbal/Spoken)

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage priorities
effectively

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
