About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Fashion Designer to lead our design initiatives and drive the creative direction of the brand.

If you are passionate about crafting statement pieces, understand evolving fashion sensibilities, and can mentor and inspire a team while building globally relevant collections — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process — from concept development and sketching to sampling and
final production.

• Forecast trends and translate insights into cohesive seasonal collections aligned with Issa’s identity.

• Experiment with fabrics, silhouettes, surface techniques, embroidery, and detailing to create distinctive pieces.

• Oversee fittings, quality control, and finishing standards to maintain luxury-level execution.

• Collaborate closely with merchandising, production, and marketing teams for seamless launches.

• Mentor junior designers, interns, and sampling teams to strengthen overall creative output.

• Stay updated on global fashion trends, competitor positioning, and evolving consumer preferences.

• Represent Issa at fashion shows, exhibitions, and client interactions when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field from a reputed institute.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in women’s ethnic, fusion, or contemporary wear.

• Strong portfolio showcasing original concepts, technical proficiency, and executed collections.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and garment construction techniques.

• Deep understanding of textiles, embroidery methods, surface embellishments, and finishing.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Creative vision combined with strong commercial awareness.
