Infrastructure Architect: Engineering Manager Lead with infrastructure background knowledge and having hands-on experience in cloud migrations and discovery tools.

Migrations like on Prem to cloud & cloud to cloud Should be proficient in the scripting language (python, PowerShell ) Hands on Ansible .

Expertise in Cloud Skills ( AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP ) Should bridge the gap between the CA and Engineering Team and align the tasks for the Engineering .

The person should have strong, hands-on expertise in identifying and mapping IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, applications, databases, cloud resources) and maintaining this information accurately in a CMDB (Configuration Management Database).

In practical terms, this includes: discovering on-prem and cloud infrastructure automatically and manually, understanding relationships and dependencies between infrastructure components, populating and maintaining CMDB data accurately, working with discovery tools and agents, and ensuring infra data is up to date for incident, change, and asset management.

In short, it means having a deep understanding of how infrastructure is discovered, tracked, and governed through CMDB systems.

Should have knowledge on Migrations, Technically basic understanding of Ansible is preferred.

Infrastructure Discovery Tools like: Servicenow discovery, BMC discovery, solarwinds etc..

Managing Azure Migrate,AWS Config How the actual discovery works in the background Ansible Knowledge Infrastructure Design Knowledge & should also lead the team Experience Range: 10 to 15 Years Max budget is 50 LPA(hike % should not exceed more than 20 to 25%)

 

Preferred Skills

Experience with additional cloud platforms and services. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
