Description:

We are looking for a Snowflake Developer with 3–8 years of experience to support a data migration initiative.

The role requires strong SQL and hands-on development experience to analyze existing code, understand legacy data flows, and help migrate data pipelines, transformations, and reporting logic into Snowflake.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across source systems, debugging complex SQL, and supporting end-to-end migration activities.

Analyze existing SQL code, stored procedures, ETL logic, and data pipelines from legacy platforms.

Understand source-to-target mappings and support migration of data models, transformations, and business rules into Snowflake.

Develop, optimize, and maintain Snowflake objects such as tables, views, tasks, streams, and procedures.

Rewrite or refactor legacy SQL/code to align with Snowflake architecture and performance best practices.

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and testing to ensure accuracy and completeness post-migration.

Support performance tuning of SQL queries and Snowflake workloads during migration and stabilization.

Work closely with data architects, business analysts, QA teams, and upstream/downstream application teams.

Prepare technical documentation for migration logic, design decisions, and implementation steps.

Required

Skills:
3–8 years of experience in data engineering, SQL development and data warehousing.

Strong hands-on SQL skills with the ability to read, understand, troubleshoot, and rewrite complex queries.

Experience working with Snowflake in a developer capacity.

Good understanding of database migration, code analysis, and data transformation logic.

Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse concepts.

Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and debugging data issues.

Ability to work on migration, remediation, and validation activities in a structured manner.
