Position : Data Engineer (Consultant and Senior Consultant)

Sr Consultant : 9+ yrs(Lead)

Consultant : 6 to 9 yrs (relevant should be 5+ yrs)

Data Engineer :
Seeking a Data Engineering Consultant who can operate effectively across
both strategy and execution planning.

The role requires someone who can
define the data migration approach, evaluate tools, structure
source-to-target mappings, and translate requirements into a practical
roadmap with clear dependencies and entry criteria.

Candidates should have
hands-on experience balancing architecture, planning, and delivery readiness
in complex data transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Assess available data migration tools and support selection of the most
suitable tool based on program scope, source/target landscape, automation
capability, scalability, and business requirements.

Define the overall data migration strategy and go-forward architecture for
the program, including migration approach, sequencing, design principles,
and governance considerations.

Define and document data migration scope across in-scope objects, systems,
and business processes, including assumptions, exclusions, and dependencies.

Design & Develop Data model, source-to-target mappings for key master data
domains, including Customer, Material, and Vendor from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

Produce and maintain cross-reference listings for Customer, Material, and
Vendor to support accelerated detailed design and downstream migration
activities.

Collaborate with business, functional, data, and technical teams to validate
mapping logic, scope boundaries, and migration design decisions.

Identify data dependencies, mock conversion requirements, and entry criteria
required for successful migration execution.

Develop the Data Migration Implementation Roadmap, including mock cycle
dependencies, milestone alignment, sequencing, and readiness checkpoints.

Align migration planning to TSA exit timelines, program milestones, and
overall transformation delivery objectives.

Support creation of migration strategy documentation, architecture
artifacts, decision logs, and executive-ready readouts.

Databricks Data Engineer: Intermediate

ETL Architecture & Development: Advanced

Python, pyspark - Data Manipulation & Analysis: Advanced

Standard SQL include PLSQl : Advanced

This role is best suited for someone who can operate at both strategic and

They should be able to define the migration
