Position Details: Technical Project Manager

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Program Planning & Execution: Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Oversee task allocation, ensure timely execution, and track progress to completion.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of engineering concepts and processes.

• Experience with data marts and data warehousing is highly preferred.

Agile Leadership: Implement and promote Agile practices, particularly Scrum, within the team.

• Serve as a coach and mentor to team members, enhancing their understanding and adoption of Agile principles.

• Scrum Master

Responsibilities: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Ensure the team adheres to Agile practices.

• Impediment Removal: Identify and address blockers affecting team progress.

Foster an environment that supports productivity and innovation.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multiple teams to manage dependencies, risks, and program deliverables.

• Ensure transparency and effective communication across all levels.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Proactively address challenges and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications &

Skills:

• 10–15 years of experience in Project/Program Management, with at least 5 years leading Data Engineering or Data Lake programs.

• Strong experience delivering projects on the Azure Data Platform (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL).

• Good understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and enterprise data lake architecture.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent data initiatives and coordinating global stakeholders.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and vendor coordination skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
