Position Details: SAP BTP Developer – CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

Description:

Design and develop enterprise applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (Cloud Foundry).

The role involves building robust backend services using CAP (Node.js or Java), integrating with SAP and non-SAP systems and supporting Fiori/UI5 frontends.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop CAP-based backend services (Node.js / Java) on SAP BTP.

• Build and expose OData and REST APIs for frontend integration (UI5, Fiori, or third-party apps).

• Configure and manage destinations, connectivity, and authentication on BTP.

• Work with SAP HANA Cloud, persistence models, and CDS views.

• Implement business logic, validations, and event handling in CAP services.

• Develop deployment artifacts and manage Cloud Foundry environments.

• Integrate with SAP Launchpad, Identity Services, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate closely with UI and functional consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment)
• CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) – Node.js or Java
• OData V2/V4, REST APIs
• SAP HANA Cloud and CDS models
• BAS / VS Code, Git, CI/CD pipelines
• JSON, JavaScript, SQL, YAML
• Authentication & Authorization (XSUAA / JWT)
