Position Details: Oracle PPM Finance Functional Consultant

Description:

Lead and participate in end-to-end Oracle Cloud Finance / PPM implementation and support projects.

Conduct business requirement gathering, workshops, fit-gap analysis and solution design.

Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Financials , with a strong focus on Accounting Hub and General Ledger.

Configure and support Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA) , including accounting rules, journal line rules, account derivation rules and supporting configurations.

Work on Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud for integrating and accounting transactions from external/source systems.

Design and configure accounting processes, chart of accounts, ledgers, legal entities, business units and accounting structures.

Implement Oracle Cloud PPM / Project Financial Management , including: Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Control, Project Accounting, Project Budgeting and Forecasting, Project Contracts / project-related financial processes, Intercompany / cross-charge processes where applicable.

Configure project expenditure types, transaction sources, cost rates, burdening, accounting and project organizations.

Support project cost collection, accounting and transfer of project transactions to General Ledger.

Configure and support project billing, revenue recognition and customer invoicing processes.

Work on project capitalization and accounting for capital projects where applicable.

Analyze integration requirements between Oracle Cloud PPM, Financials and third-party applications.

Coordinate with technical teams for FBDI, integrations, reports, data migration and extensions.

Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios and user documentation.

Support SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment and post-go-live activities.

Perform issue analysis and provide functional solutions for production/support issues.

Work closely with offshore/onshore teams and business stakeholders in a global delivery environment.

Participate in solution walkthroughs and provide guidance to junior functional consultants.

Ensure solutions follow Oracle leading practices and client business requirements.

Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

Strong expertise in Oracle Accounting Hub / Accounting Hub Cloud.

Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Subledger Accounting (SLA).

Good understanding of accounting concepts, financial processes and integration of external transactions into Oracle Financials.

Experience with COA, ledgers, legal entities, business units and accounting configurations.
