Position Details: QA Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an AI-Driven QA Engineer who believes software testing should increasingly be intelligent, automated and AI-assisted rather than relying entirely on repetitive manual testing.

We are not looking for someone who simply knows how to use AI tools to generate test cases.

You must understand software testing fundamentals well enough to question, validate, identify gaps and effectively use AI-generated testing approaches.

What You Will Do

• Use AI-assisted testing tools and agents as part of everyday testing workflows, including test case creation, test automation, defect analysis, regression testing and test documentation.

• Convert repetitive testing activities into automated test scripts, workflows or AI-assisted processes, while continuously experimenting with emerging AI capabilities to improve testing efficiency, coverage and quality.

• Perform manual testing and create clear test scenarios and test cases based on requirements, covering functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing across web and/or mobile applications.

• Identify, report, track and retest defects while collaborating with developers and team members to understand and resolve issues.

• Use AI to analyse defects, test results, application behaviour and potential failure scenarios, while maintaining test documentation, defect reports, test cases and quality knowledge.

Build Quality

• Think beyond expected results and identify edge cases, risks and potential failure scenarios while validating application behaviour from both functional and user perspectives.

• Ensure appropriate testing and quality checks are completed before features move to production.

• Critically review and validate AI-generated test cases, test scripts and automation before implementation, while continuously improving testing processes, automation coverage, quality standards and documentation.

What You Need

• 0–2 years of experience in QA, Software Testing or a related field is appreciated, and immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

Any relevant internships, academic projects or prior hands-on experience will be appreciated.

• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and methodologies, including the ability to understand requirements, create test scenarios and test cases, report defects, and think critically about failures and edge cases.

• Fresher Candidates should have completed relevant courses in Manual Testing, Java and Test Automation, with particular emphasis on Java and Automation Testing.

Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools is a plus.

• Exposure to Selenium, Playwright or Appium for web or mobile test automation is appreciated, along with an understanding of automation testing concepts, basic API testing and an interest in AI-assisted testing tools.
